Yes you can pay with credit/debit card instead of PayPal if you prefer. To do this, you'll still want to follow the steps to subscribe (as detailed here). Once you select 'sign up' under the subscription you choose, you'll be directed to the PayPal site where you can select the option that says 'pay with a credit card instead.' The page will look like what you see below. Select the option highlighted in blue above that says 'No PayPal account? Use your credit or debit card.' Then you will simply complete the rest of the form with your card information.
