The way our system works is that our computer servers search for jobs for you every 60 seconds and then sends you an email, text, or app alert the moment the job is detected. Just as it is with emails and text messages, there's a chance that by the time you select a job to accept on the app, it may have already been taken on the substitute service website.
All jobs that are accepted by another user will be cleared from your app every 60 seconds, but keep in mind you may see them for a few seconds after they are accepted before our server clears them. It is still a mostly 'live' view of jobs, but there is of course a delay from how jobs are shown on your substitute service site because of the time it takes for our server to post the jobs and then clear the jobs.
