How Do I Subscribe?

  1. Open the SubSidekick app or website and login.
  2. Tap the Settings tab and then tap the Subscription option.
  3. Tap Subscribe for your desired subscription type.
  4. You will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the subscription.
    • If you have a PayPal account and want to use it, enter your login credentials and then tap Log In.
    • If you want to pay without a PayPal account or you want to create a PayPal account, tap the Pay with Debit or Credit Card button at the bottom of the page.
  5. Make sure to keep clicking through all of the pages and through the review your order page until you see the confirmation page to ensure that the subscription is finalized.

Once you have completed the subscription, PayPal will make withdraws from your payment method automatically each month (or year). The transaction will occur exactly one month (or year) from the previous transaction. Since everything is automated, you can enjoy continuous use of SubSidekick. If at any time you decide that you don't want to use SubSidekick, simply visit the subscription page (as outline above) to cancel your subscription payments. After cancellation, you will not be charged during the next billing cycle.


How Do I Change My PayPal Payment Method?

The easiest way to do this is to 'resubscribe' with us with your new payment information. All you need to do is follow the directions below.

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Go to the automatic payments page.
  3. Tap the name of the merchant for the agreement you want to change (SubSidekick).
  4. Under Payment method tap the Edit icon .
  5. Select the payment method you’d like to use or link a new card or bank.
  6. Tap Save.

           

How Do I Cancel My Subscription Temporarily? Will I Be Charged During The Summer?

If you are enrolled in our monthly plan you will be charged automatically every month unless you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe during the times you know you will not be teaching (such as the summer) and then resubscribe whenever you start subbing again. See directions below:


To unsubscribe, you'll actually want to log-in to your account and 'Cancel' your subscription, which will stop all FUTURE payments, but keep your alerts active until the current month's subscription expires:

  1. Tap the Subscription option on the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Cancel on the subscription type that is currently active.


Then whenever you are ready to resubscribe, simply log-in and follow these steps:

  1. Return to the Subscription option on the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Sign Up for your desired subscription type.
  3. You will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the subscription.


*If you are not sure when the best time is to cancel, first determine when your last day of subbing is going to be. Then you'll want to see when your next Sub Sidekick monthly payment will be so you can cancel before that time. To do this, log-in to SubSidekick, tap the Settings tab, tap the Subscription option, and look at the box titled 'Current Subscription' on the right hand-side. It will show your 'Last Payment' and 'Next Payment.'


How Do I Cancel My Account?

FREE TRIAL USERS:

If you are simply enrolled in our Free Trial, all alerts and email notifications will cease after your 14 days is over. If you would like to stop receiving alerts before the trial is up, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log-in to your SubSidekick account.
  2. Tap the Settings tab.
  3. Go to Substitute Accounts option.
  4. Remove any added accounts from this screen.

Please keep in mind that when you enroll in our trial, your email is set up to receive notification emails about the status of your account, when your trial is ending, etc... These emails are sent from our server automatically but will stop as soon as your trial is over.


PAID SUBSCRIBERS: 

If you are a paid subscriber and wish to cancel and stop all future payments, you'll need to log-in to your account and 'cancel' your subscription:

  1. Log-in to your SubSidekick account.
  2. Tap the Subscription option on the Settings tab.
  3. Tap Cancel on the subscription type that is currently active.


Keep in mind that this will simply stop the next payment from occurring, so your current subscription might still be active at that time. If there is still time left on the subscription you have already paid for, you will keep receiving alerts until your license expires (at the end of the month or year that is paid up). If you wish to cancel AND stop all alerts immediately, you will need to delete your substitute account as well so that our server stops searching your account for jobs. To do this, simply follow the instructions below:


  1. Log-in to your Sub Sidekick account.
  2. Tap the Settings tab.
  3. Go to Substitute Accounts option.
  4. Remove any added accounts from this screen.


REFUNDS:

If your account was recently charged for an annual subscription or monthly subscription that you will not be using, please submit a new ticket to our support team right away so that we can process a refund if possible. Please keep in mind, that PayPal does not allow refunds after 60 days of the subscription start date. In order to ensure a refund, you will need to contact us at the beginning of the payment period.
