There are actually several advantages of using SubSidekick over Frontline Education™ app.
Frontline Disadvantages:
- Frontline does not send email alerts
- Frontline does not send text messages
- Frontline only works with Frontline Absence Management / Aesop (because it is owned by them) and can not work with any other district that uses a different substitute service (ReadySub, Substitute Online, atrieveERP, etc...). We support all services. Your district may only use Frontline Aesop now, but that may change at some point and/or you may start working with another district in the future that uses a different service. Jobulator would not be able to support that.
- If you do not have a smartphone, you won't be able to use Frontline's app.
SubSidekick Advantages:
- Sends app push notification alerts, text message alerts, and/or email message alerts when a job is available
- Each notification contains a one-tap link to quickly accept a job
- Our favorites feature allows you to quickly highlight the jobs of highest interest to you
- Use keyword filters to clear up your list of available jobs and ensure you only get interrupted and alerted for jobs you want (filter based on keywords within a school name, employee name, or job title)
- Filter jobs based on their duration (full day or half day)
- Support for all districts, not just the ones using Frontline Aesop
- No need to run any software or applications on your computer
- Can send text message alerts to ANY cell phone (not just smartphones)
All of these features keep you from having to stay at your computer checking the Frontline Aesop website all day, and provide a more comprehensive list of services than most other alert companies.
