What Is A Favorite?

Favorites are a great way to highlight the jobs that you are most interested in. Most substitute teachers have personal preferences for certain grade levels, subjects, schools, etc. With this in mind, there are probably some jobs that you love and want to always accept as quickly as possible. These are the jobs that should be set as a favorite.

Any job that matches one of your added favorite keywords and passes your filters will be marked in alerts with a "FAVORITE" designation. In addition, they will appear at the top of the job list and highlighted in yellow within the app. This should make it easier for you to recognize and quickly accept your favorite jobs!

What Is The Difference Between Filters And Favorites?

Filters are used to prevent job alerts and favorites are used to highlight/distinguish certain job alerts. In summary, we suggest the following strategy:

For jobs you almost never want, set a filter to remove them.
For jobs you may want, don't filter or favorite them.
For jobs you almost always want, set them as a favorite.

How Do I Make A Job A Favorite?

There are three ways to make a job a favorite:
  1. After accepting a job, tap the "Make Favorite" button in the acceptance pop-up
  2. Slide to the left on a job and tap the yellow star icon
  3. Go to the Settings tab, then Favorites, then Add Favorite

When adding a favorite directly from an existing job, you can choose to add the job title, employee, or location as a favorite. When adding a favorite from the Settings, you can enter any keyword you want.
